Plain-language terms for using DAIZ. We have tried to keep this short and readable. The short version: DAIZ generates trip ideas, you do the actual booking, and we are not liable if a restaurant has moved since the last time we checked.

1. What This Is

  • DAIZ is a trip planning tool. We generate itineraries using AI and curated data.
  • By using DAIZ, you agree to these terms.
  • If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What DAIZ Is (and Isn't)

  • DAIZ generates travel recommendations. We are not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking platform.
  • We don't sell tickets, reserve hotels, or handle payments.
  • When you click an affiliate link (Viator, GetYourGuide), you leave DAIZ and enter a third-party booking platform. Their terms apply to any purchases you make.
  • Itineraries are suggestions, not guarantees. Opening hours, prices, and availability can change. Always verify before you go.

3. Accounts

  • You can browse and generate trips without an account.
  • Creating an account (via Google or magic-link email) lets you save trips.
  • You're responsible for your account security.
  • One account per person. Don't share credentials.
  • We can suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Your Content

  • You own your trip preferences and saved itineraries.
  • By using DAIZ, you grant us permission to process your preferences to generate trips (obviously, that's the point).
  • We don't claim ownership of your data. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

5. Our Content

  • Destination descriptions, activity write-ups, guides, blog posts, and generated itineraries are DAIZ content.
  • You can use your generated itinerary for personal travel planning.
  • You may not scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute DAIZ content for commercial purposes.
  • You may not use DAIZ to build a competing travel planning service.

6. AI-Generated Content

  • Itineraries are generated by AI models and may contain errors.
  • Restaurant recommendations may be closed, moved, or changed.
  • Price estimates are approximate and may not reflect current pricing.
  • Walking distances and times are estimates.
  • DAIZ is not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
  • For destinations not in our curated database, itineraries are fully AI-generated and clearly labeled as such.

7. Affiliate Links

  • Some activity recommendations include affiliate links to Viator, GetYourGuide, and other booking platforms.
  • DAIZ earns a commission when you book through these links.
  • Affiliate links do not influence which activities appear in your itinerary. Recommendations are based on quality, relevance, and your preferences.
  • We only place affiliate links on bookable experience categories (tours, attractions, experiences). Restaurants, cafes, parks, and free activities never have affiliate links.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access DAIZ.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the trip generation system.
  • Submit false or misleading information.
  • Use DAIZ for any unlawful purpose.
  • Interfere with the service's operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • DAIZ is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • We do our best to provide accurate, helpful recommendations, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of every detail.
  • DAIZ is not liable for: missed reservations, closed venues, incorrect prices, travel disruptions, or any losses arising from reliance on our recommendations.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (currently zero, since DAIZ is free to use).

10. Changes to the Service

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue DAIZ at any time.
  • We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified via email to registered users.
  • Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Israel.
  • Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction above.
